The higher end of the range was linked to those who exercised more who took part in aerobic exercises such as running, jogging, strolling, and walking.

Those who exercised more frequently had a 27% drop in risk for liver cancer and 42% decrease in risk for esophageal cancer. Regular exercise was associated with a 20-26% decrease in lung, endometrial, stomach, and kidney cancer risk, as well as reduced myeloid leukemia risks. A 13-17% reduction was also reported in risk for myeloma, bladder, colon, head, neck, and rectal cancers. Risk of breast cancer also decreased by 10% in those who exercised frequently.
