Xuetao Pei, PhD
Cell Biologist and Biophysicist
Dr. Pei is Professor and Director of Beijing Institute of Transfusion Medicine and SCRM Research Center, Chief Scientist of Key Project of State High-tech Project “Stem Cell and Tissue Engineering for Regenerative Medicine”. His main research fields are stem cell biology, stem cell therapy and regenerative medicine.
Dr. Pei has published more than 200 papers in journals such as Stem Cells, JBC, JCP, Apoptosis, Liver Transplantation, Exp Hematol, and Exp Neurol.
At the upcoming Anti-Aging Conference: Clinical Applications for In-Office Procedures in San Jose, California (September 9-12, 2009), Dr. Pei will present, Stem Cell Research and Liver Regeneration, on Friday, September 11th.
This lecture will focus on the research currently underway on bone marrow and embryonic stem cell derived heptatocytes and their interaction with the microenvironment.
