Week of April 20, 2009
Stanislaw R. Burzynski, MD, PhD
Dr. Burzynski is an internationally-renowned scientist in cancer and anti-aging research. He served on the faculty at Baylor College of Medicine, then established Burzynski Clinic. Dr. Burzynski authored the theories of biochemical defense against cancer and gene silencing in aging, and discovered new treatments for cancer and AIDS. He has 224 patents and 282 publications.
At the upcoming 17th World Congress on Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine in Orlando (April 23-25, 2009), Dr. Burzynski will present, New Research on Molecular Mechanisms and Prevention of Alzheimer’s Disease, on Thursday, April 23rd, 2009.
During this lecture, Dr. Burzynski will discuss the hypothesis that the physiological function of amyloid precursor protein (APP) is to facilitate consolidation of memory. The abnormal activity of genes in Alzheimer’s disease and resulting damage and impairment of brain function can be addressed through the use of supplements containing phenylacetylglutamine (PG), curcumin, and piperine.
