(ANZO) (Europe) South Africa has a legislative proposal, inspired by pharmaceutical interests, to “ensure the safety of natural remedies” including herbs and nutritional supplements, proposing to subject them to the extensive testing routines normally applied only to allopathic – pharmaceutically produced – medicines.
