HUGO – Police seized 1,200 marijuana plants found growing in a large underground operation outfitted with electrical power, climate control, watering devices and fertilizing systems.
The discovery was made Thursday in a raid of the home of Robert Akim “Joshua” Leen in Hugo, about 10 miles north of Grants Pass. Police said they were looking for Leen.
The operation had been set up in three underground cargo containers at two sites, police said. Two of the containers were welded together.
