Improve ED by eating better

ED – is the bane of Male existence when it occurs. ones’ life, relationships,
marriage, and attitude toward life in general. In some men it can create depression and a feeling of being less

While sometimes an embarrassment, one should go to their doctor right away to determine if there is
something physically or mentally wrong. Any number of conditions can cause ED, for example it is one of the
first indicators of cardio vascular (heart) disease, other include, but are not limited to:

There are many remedies for ED including: testosterone injections, penis injections, pills, pumps, surgeries,
and a plethora of nutritional supplements. Needless to say, many of those are either expensive, painful, or
short lived. In most cases they do not fix the underlying cause of the problem.

Most doctors and experts agree that your first line of defense should be life-style modifications:
 Simply exercising 15 minutes a day will decrease blood pressure, depression, anxiety and belly fat,
improve blood flow,
 Increase to 30 minutes a day and your testosterone levels should improve
 Changing your diet.

o Junk food, chips, cookies, pies, cakes and candies)
o can and will may a huge difference in just a few months.

Research reveals that eating the following foods, especially as a replacement for junk food will make a big
difference in your overall health and your ED. Why not give them a try before resulting in the more expensive
therapies.

Three of most men’s favorite foods, coffee, nuts, and dark chocolate have now been found to be much more
beneficial as opposed to old fashioned thinking they were harmful!
Coffee … More that just a morning boost, recent studies have found that 2-3 cups of fresh coffee contain a
great deal of anti-oxidants. Men who drank coffee have less ED due to improved circulation. If you don’t like
coffee, try tea.

Nuts … Nuts contain amino acids, protein, vitamin E, folic acid and fiber. A couple of handfuls of unsalted
mixed nuts (especially walnuts) can boost your L-Arginine which creates Nitric Oxide a vasodilator good for
blood flow everywhere, including the penis. Careful, nuts are also high in calories, so easy does it.
Dark Chocolate … Not everybody likes dark chocolate, but compared to milk chocolate (which is bad for
you) it’s great for your heart and other body parts. It’s rich in flavanols which help boost blood flow and lower
blood pressure. It also boosts nitric oxide which improves ED much like popular medications.

Oysters … While this age-old remedy is thought to be an old wives tale, but it turns out to have some validity.
They may boost testosterone levels, and are full of zinc which is great for hormone production. However,
unlike common thought, they should be cooked properly in order to avoid any possible bacterial infection.
Garlic … Garlic has been proven to be great for healthy arteries as you age, as it helps to prevent and
remove plaque from your vessels. You probably should share, however just to be fair in the breath
department.

Fish … Especially Salmon are great sources omega-3 fatty acids, which can boost nitric oxide (vasodilator),
and lower blood pressure; which lowers your risks for heart attack and blood clots. Research shows 8 oz/wk
should provide enough Omegas to start with. Anytime you can substitute fish for red meat, you’ll be doing
yourself (and maybe your penis) a favor.

Greens … While sometimes an acquired taste, Kale also boosts nitric-oxide. All greens, especially dark leafy
ones are full of vitamins, minerals, and Omega-3s. The more you eat the healthier you’ll be. If you don’t like
vegies, start slow and work up to at least 2-3 servings a day.

Watermelon … An old time favorite of just about everyone, it brings back memories of hot summer days and
cool watermelon at fairs and family outings. Studies say it’s full of lycopene, an antioxidant that’s good for
your heart, prostate, and skin, and may even improve your sex drive
Juice … Ok now who doesn’t like juice? Grape or pomegranate juice contains nitric oxide and is good for
blood flow. Careful, if your diabetic, these juices from can or concentrate are full of sugar which is not good
for diabetes. Eating pomegranate fruit 9seed) are delicious and very heart healthy. And Yes, it’s true a glass
of wine is also heart healthy (not the whole bottle however!).

Peppers … Cayenne, jalapenos, habaneros, and other peppers relaxes the arteries improves blood flow to
the heart and the penis. Chili peppers may lower blood pressure and cholesterol and prevent blood clots.
Olive Oil … Especially extra-virgin, may help create more testosterone. Full of monounsaturated fat, it can
help reduce bad cholesterol in your body, and is therefore very heart healthy.

We hope you get the picture here, that any food that increases nitric oxide and is therefore heart healthy
will not only reduce your ED, it will make you live younger longer! That may not mean much to you now,
but by age 65 you’ll be so glad you changed for the better.
