High Bone Density Linked to Breast Cancer

Having a high bone mineral density may not be as beneficial for health as once thought, according to results of a new study. Researchers from the University of Pittsburgh found that while women with a naturally high bone mineral density were significantly less likely to fracture their hips, they were nearly three-times more likely to develop breast cancer compared to women with less dense bones.
