Fellowship in Kinesiology, Nutrition and Sports Medicine Announced

Everyone knows proper nutrition and exercise can be the key to a healthier, longer life…this Fellowship will empower doctors and their patients to take these basic principles to a new, deeper and broader level than ever before.

The American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M) is proud to announce the Fellowship in Kinesiology, Nutrition and Sports Medicine (ABKNSM). The Fellowship is a 6-module series that covers a variety of topics. During the Fellowship, participants will:

  • Learn Sports Medicine Protocols for the safe and effective exercise and nutrition prescriptions for the treatment, care and prevention of 65 different diseases, disabilities and disfunctions, including;
    • cardiovascular/pulmonary diseases
    • aging-related diseases
    • athletic injuries and performance training,
  • Examine case studies and hands-on practical Kinesiology, exercise and nutrition that promotes longevity and maximizes lifespan functionality.
  • Practice counseling techniques that increase patient initiation and retention in physician-directed exercise and nutrition
  • Discover how to positively impact all aspects patients’ lives with a “whole-patient, whole-life approach
  • Master the five most important IFPA Components of Fitness
  • Gain new incite in the practice of treating people, not diseases.

Members of the ABKNSM Fellowship will be dedicated to using non-invasive sports medicine, nutrition, kinesiology and exercise protocols for the treatment, care and prevention of disease, disability and dysfunction for their patients and by instituting these protocols will return them to optimum health and performance.

The Fellowship in Kinesiology, Nutrition and Sports Medicine takes a dynamic approach to teaching: Physicians and Sports Medicine professionals who participate in the training will demonstrate the sports medicine protocols learned in the Fellowship on themselves prior to their patients. The participants will personally observe increases in their own strength, speed, power, anaerobic and aerobic endurance, agility, balance, coordination, flexibility, and body composition. They will become a great roll model for their patients.

Dr. Bell is the ideal Director for the Fellowship in Kinesiology, Nutrition and Sports Medicine because of his expertise in the realm of Sports Medicine and ability to educate Doctors and other sports medicine proessionals with the knowledge, skills and abilities they need to improve patient management through exercise and nutrition prescription. During one of his A4M lectures last year he said to the crowd “You should all know that regular exercise is the very best defense against the development of the numerous diseases, disabilities and dysfunctions that afflict our people. Every major medical, health and wellness organization and expert has identified exercise as the primary mechanism to prevent disease and premature death” after his lecture he received a standing ovation from the Physicians, Scientific Professionals and Sports Medicine Professionals that filled the room.

Dr. Bell is the CEO of the International Fitness Professionals Association (IFPA) and the previous Chairman of the American College of Anti-Aging Sports Medicine Professionals (ACASP). Dr. Bell holds two PhDs in Exercise Science, and is currently pursuing a PhD degree in Naturopathic Medicine. With over 70 certifications and licenses in various areas of fitness, health, nutrition, and sports medicine/psychology/conditioning, he is author or co-author of 14 books and hundreeds of articles on these subjects.
