Providing onsite exercise facilities for employees boosts their productivity and creates a happier, more efficient, and less stressed workforce.
British researchers conducted a study to test the impact of workplace exercise facilities such as gyms or exercise classes on employee performance. Results showed that being able to exercise at work improved employees productivity by reenergizing them and boosting their concentration and problem solving abilities, as well as making them feel calmer.
It is hoped that the findings will encourage more businesses to provide facilities for their staff to exercise.
