Obese people are already considered to be at a higher risk for developing Alzheimer’s but the findings offer some insight into a possible explanation for this trend.” The normal cautions apply to extrapolating work on mice to humans, but researchers suspect that lowered blood glucose and insulin are good places to look for an explanation of this calorie restriction benefit.
