Results of a recent study suggest that the brain ages at a much slower pace than the rest of our bodies. Researchers found that when fit and healthy men reach their 75th birthday they can expect their mental abilities to remain intact for another 8.4 years on average, however their physical health is only likely to last for 4.6 years. Meanwhile, women can expect to stay mentally sharp for 10-years or so, but their bodies will start to fail them in just 3.6-years.
