Bird flu has decimated Asia's poultry and killed more than 20 people in Vietnam and Thailand, and health experts say the virus remains a threat, though it hasn't shown signs of becoming easily transferrable between people as SARS was.
Some travelers, particularly East Asians who are notoriously skittish about health threats, have canceled vacation plans.
