93% Of Americans May Have Glyphosate In Their Bodies

Anyone who thinks that proliferation of crop chemicals throughout the environment aren’t really a big deal, should really rethink that. According to a comprehensive analysis of glyphosate an astounding 93% of all people have the chemical glyphosate lingering inside of their bodies.

The University of California was pointed out to be involved in conducting urine samples on test subjects from across the nation including areas that are far away from crop fields where the glyphosate and other chemicals are applied; their shocking findings showed that almost everyone is contaminated with glyphosate which has been identified as a contributor to cancer.

Lab results for the first 131 subjects were published in 2016, all of them showing that glyphosate is everywhere including in the general food supply where ingredients such as conventional wheat and soy can typically harbor substantial levels of glyphosate, atrazine and any other noxious poisons.

Scientific bodies of evidence against glyphosate is substantially growing despite its continued use in American agriculture. Europe has begun to implement more restrictions on the use of glyphosate and may even ban it completely once it’s time for re-approval comes up again.

Big American Ag thus far has been unsuccessful at convincing Europeans that glyphosate exists for their benefit and they should continue to douse their food supply and land with it; repeated efforts to get it approved for an additional 9 years have failed as it would seem Europe recognizes that there is not much good to be had from the use of glyphosate.

In the USA money still talks the loudest, as noxious poisons such as this are still continued to be used and are encouraged to be used everywhere. The federal government including the EPA are fully on board with the use of glyphosate, it appears many of the politicians must still be in  the pockets of big agricultural giants such as Monsanto/Bayer that keep them towing the status quo.

Safe levels of glyphosate ingestion still remain unknown despite what the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and massive agro-chemical industries would have you believe. The chemical industry and government based regulator have not conducted thorough investigations of low level exposures on the American human population. Research conducted elsewhere however strongly indicates that glyphosate may cause a more toxic, hormone disruptive effect at these low levels than even high levels can cause.

Several independent studies have confirmed glyphosate’s endocrine-disrupting properties and refer to it as a hormone hacker. Male rats exposed to the chemical in a published 2015 paper from India found the exposed male rats to have their hormones completely thrown out of whack.

The Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine published a paper showing glyphosate substantially increases risks of developing melanoma cancer, which was specifically linked to farm workers working in open air sunlight being at much higher rates than others.

Glyphosate is commonly sprayed all over home gardens, schools, and public parks to kill weeds, making it also affect city dwellers, added to the exposure from food supplies. It’s effects can’t really be denied which is why independent scientists around the world are pushing for a ban on glyphosate across the board in the best interest of public health.

Experts recommend avoiding GMOs and conventionally grown produce which are more likely to be contaminated with glyphosate, saying exposure can be greatly reduced by selecting organic products, and with use a high quality water filtration system to reduce exposure from water that may also be contaminated.
