PALM BEACH — U.S. science lags behind that of Israel and other countries because of President Bush's limits on embryonic stem cell research, actor Christopher Reeve said Sunday.
Reeve was attending a weekend forum at the Four Seasons Resort sponsored by the American Friends of the Hebrew University.
Reeve, the onetime Superman actor who was paralyzed below the neck after a 1995 horseback-riding accident, toured research facilities in Israel last year to study advances in treating spinal cord injuries.
